These Terms and Conditions govern the use of chianticookingexperience.com and, where applicable, the enquiry, booking and provision of services offered by Chianti Cooking Experience.
By using the website or requesting a service, users acknowledge that they have read these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services
Chianti Cooking Experience provides food-related experiences and services including, by way of example:
cooking classes;
pizza classes;
private chef and catered meal services at the customer’s accommodation;
pizza and barbecue services;
catering;
customised culinary experiences;
food and catering services for weddings, private events and corporate events;
team-building and cooking-related experiences.
The specific characteristics, duration, location, number of participants, menu, price and other conditions are defined in the relevant proposal, quotation or booking confirmation.
3. Information on the website
Information, photographs, menus, descriptions and examples appearing on the website are provided for illustrative and informational purposes.
As many services are customised according to seasonality, ingredient availability, group size, location and customer requirements, the information displayed on the website does not constitute a binding contractual offer.
Chianti Cooking Experience may make reasonable changes to services or menus when required for organisational, technical or seasonal reasons or due to ingredient availability, while seeking to maintain equivalent characteristics and quality wherever possible.
4. Enquiries and bookings
Submitting an enquiry through the website, by email, telephone or any other communication channel does not automatically constitute a confirmed booking.
A booking is confirmed when Chianti Cooking Experience provides written confirmation and the customer accepts the financial and organisational conditions stated in the quotation or booking confirmation.
Where a deposit, advance payment or other amount is required to secure a booking, the booking may only become final once payment has been received in accordance with the proposal.
If these Terms and Conditions conflict with specific conditions provided in a quotation or booking confirmation, the specific booking conditions shall prevail in relation to the matters expressly covered by them.
5. Prices and payments
The service price, any deposit or advance payment, payment method and payment deadlines will be communicated to the customer before the booking is confirmed.
The quotation will specify the services included and, where applicable, any additional charges.
Requests made after confirmation that affect the menu, number of participants, duration, location, staffing requirements or other elements of the service may result in a price adjustment, which will be communicated to the customer.
6. Changes and cancellations by the customer
Specific conditions concerning changes of date, cancellation, deposits, refunds and applicable deadlines are those stated in the quotation or booking confirmation.
Customers should communicate any request to change or cancel a booking as soon as possible using the contact details provided by Chianti Cooking Experience.
Changes to date, location, number of participants or service characteristics are subject to availability and must be expressly confirmed.
Right of withdrawal
For contracts concerning catering services or leisure activities to be provided on a specific date or during a specific period, the statutory right of withdrawal applicable to certain distance contracts may not apply in the circumstances provided for by Article 59(1)(n) of Italian Legislative Decree No. 206/2005 (Italian Consumer Code).
Any more favourable cancellation or refund conditions expressly provided in the quotation or booking confirmation remain applicable, together with all mandatory consumer rights provided by law.
7. Changes to or inability to provide the service
Chianti Cooking Experience will make reasonable efforts to provide the service as agreed.
Where unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control require a change, the customer will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and an appropriate alternative will be proposed where available.
In the event of force majeure or circumstances making performance impossible or unsafe, the parties will seek in good faith a solution compatible with the nature of the booking, without prejudice to any rights provided by applicable law.
8. Allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements
Customers must inform Chianti Cooking Experience before the menu is finally confirmed of any:
food allergies;
intolerances;
coeliac disease;
dietary requirements;
food restrictions;
other relevant requirements concerning food preparation or service.
Chianti Cooking Experience will make reasonable efforts to adapt menus and preparations to communicated requirements and will inform the customer if a particular request cannot be safely or appropriately accommodated.
Serious allergies or risks related to cross-contamination must be expressly disclosed. The ability to meet any particular safety requirement must be confirmed by Chianti Cooking Experience before the booking.
9. Services provided at the customer’s premises
Where a service takes place at a villa, private residence, accommodation property or other location selected by the customer, the customer is responsible for ensuring that they have the right to use the premises and, where necessary, permission from the owner or manager.
Customers must inform Chianti Cooking Experience in advance of any characteristics of the venue that may affect the organisation of the service and must ensure reasonable access to the agreed working areas.
Any particular requirements relating to equipment, utilities, workspace or operating conditions will be agreed in advance where necessary.
10. Participation of minors
Children and minors are welcome in activities for which their participation is appropriate.
Minors participate under the responsibility and supervision of the accompanying parent, guardian or responsible adult.
During practical cooking activities, participants must follow staff instructions, particularly when using knives, equipment, cooktops, ovens, hot surfaces and other kitchen tools.
11. Participant conduct and safety
Participants must behave respectfully towards staff, other participants, venues and equipment.
Chianti Cooking Experience may stop or restrict a person’s participation where their conduct creates a genuine safety risk to themselves, other participants, staff or property, subject to applicable law.
12. Liability
Chianti Cooking Experience provides its services professionally and in accordance with the arrangements agreed with the customer.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of information supplied in connection with the booking, including participant numbers, venue details, dietary requirements and other relevant information.
Chianti Cooking Experience is not responsible for disruption resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer, independent third parties or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable law.
13. Third-party services and venues
Some experiences may involve venues, accommodation providers, producers, farms, wineries or other independent suppliers.
Where a service is provided directly by a third party, that provider’s own terms may also apply and will be communicated where relevant.
Chianti Cooking Experience is not responsible for services independently provided by third parties outside the services directly organised or contractually undertaken by Chianti Cooking Experience, except where otherwise required by law.
14. Photographs and content
Photographs or other content created during events or activities will not be used for promotional purposes where consent from identifiable individuals is legally required unless an appropriate authorisation has been obtained.
Any consent concerning the use of a person’s image is separate from acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
15. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, texts, photographs, graphics, trademarks, original recipes, teaching materials and other website content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Content may not be reproduced, distributed, published or used commercially without prior authorisation, except where permitted by law.
16. Website use
Users must use the website lawfully and must not engage in activities that may compromise its operation, security or accessibility.
Chianti Cooking Experience does not guarantee uninterrupted website availability and may carry out technical maintenance, updates or other interventions where necessary.
17. Privacy and cookies
Personal data is processed as described in the website’s Privacy Policy.

19. Applicable law and consumer protection
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law.
Where the customer is a consumer, all mandatory provisions of Italian and European consumer protection law remain fully applicable, including rules concerning the competent court and jurisdiction.
For customers acting in the course of a business or professional activity, jurisdiction is determined by applicable law and by any specific agreement validly entered into between the parties.
20. Changes to these Terms and Conditions
Chianti Cooking Experience may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes to its services, operating procedures or applicable legislation.
Bookings already confirmed remain subject to the conditions accepted at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
The current version of these Terms and Conditions will always be available on the website together with the date of the latest update.
